Joanna Berardi Dutra

curator of confidence, Motivator in Chief

Joanna is the dynamic and charismatic founder of The Creative Confidant. She helps people find the best way to present themselves to the world.

From blades to batteries, burgers to beer – Joanna has a solid background in advertising and product marketing for Fortune 500 companies.

After spending nearly 20 years helping build big brands like Gillette/P&G, Duracell, and Wendy’s, she decided to bring her zest for product marketing to a personal level.

Joanna has a penchant for seeing gifts in people they may not see themselves.

She uses her love of language to arm clients with strategic communication and presentation skills, ultimately crafting a stronger sense of self.

Joanna has a broad musical and theater background, plays the piano and violin, and loves to sing – all making her comfortable in front of an audience. One of her biggest thrills is doing stand-up comedy!

Joanna is also active in her community, serving on boards like the South Shore Conservatory and the Hingham Women’s Club, and running confidence workshops for adults as well as students in elementary school through university.

People of all ages can harness their creativity; her passion is finding ways for them to believe in themselves.

Joanna holds a BA in English and Fine Arts from Georgetown University and an MBA in Marketing and Organizational Behavior from Boston University. She is a frequent contributor to Forbes, where her vision of the world is a source of humor and positivity.

Whether making presentations or making people laugh, Joanna believes confidence is contagious.

When she’s not holding a microphone, Joanna loves traveling, skiing fast, playing tennis competitively, and spending time with her husband and two outgoing girls.

Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.
